Planwest provides economic development strategic planning services that draws from both a rigorous data-driven modeling approach on the one hand, and a qualitative, interview-based evaluation of community attributes, resources and values on the other.  Our analysis is informed by successful methods employed elsewhere, while at the same time building on each community’s unique economic development attributes and strengths. The resulting strategies and implementation measures are leveraged where possible by external funds, strengthened by public-private partnerships, and integrated into a community’s budgeting process. Results oftentimes reveal untapped opportunities and assets, and provide informed direction for improving business and employment opportunities.  We work to establish a community's distinct advantages by providing:
