Transportation Planning
Planwest offers comprehensive transportation planning services. We have the experience, and expertise, to evaluate and plan well-balanced, multi-modal transportation systems, including bicycle and pedestrian facility plans.
We have assisted three California Regional Transportation Planning Agencies (RTPA) with the regularly scheduled updates of their Regional Transportation Plans (RTP) and supporting EIRs, keeping them in conformance with the most current California Transportation Commission (CTC) Guidelines. Planwest has also assisted cities and public agencies in the development of Regional and Downtown Area Bicycle Facilities Plans.
Our trail planning experience includes the Coast to Crest and Coast to Caves Trailway Study, which received honorable mention for the Focused Issue Planning award in 2006 by the Northern Section of the California Chapter of the American Planning Association.
